Your appointments are very important to us at Salon & Spa De Crist and reserved especially for you. Should you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we respectfully request at least 24-hour notice. Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time and clients on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services.
As a courtesy, our salon software allows us to send confirmation texts, calls or email reminders 48 and 24 hours in advance. Please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times to avoid late arrivals, missed appointments, and the cancellation fee. If we do not receive the required notice for adjustments and cancellations, a cancellation fee of 50% of your total service will be charged to you on your next visit. No shows will be charged the full-service fee at the time of your next visit. Thank you for your considerate attention to this policy.
Please arrive 15 minutes early to complete the necessary paperwork for all spa services. Your health and safety are of the utmost importance to us!
The staff at Salon & Spa De Crist are highly trained and specialize in the latest techniques to give you the very best results for every hair type. Whether you have naturally curly, straight, long, short, thin, or very thick hair, there is a stylist that specializes in your hair type. We thoroughly enjoy creating a custom color and cut that best fits your face shape, hair texture, and lifestyle, so be assured that you are in good hands.
We use only the very best professional products and color that the industry has to offer. Our salon continually strives to find the most creative and innovative products to create the best look just for you. The color line that we love and use is Keune and Goldwell. We recommend scheduling your appointment as far in advance as possible as many of our stylists have a busy clientele. You can either call, email or book online! We ask that any changes or cancellations to your appointment be made at least 24 hours in advance. Walk-ins are always welcome, we appreciate referrals, and we love new clients!
Please arrive promptly for your appointment. Your service will begin and end promptly at the scheduled times. If you arrive late, we will be unable to give you the full-service time. We will do our best to accommodate you, but please understand that your appointment may need to be rescheduled or adjusted to fit the time available so that we stay on schedule for the convenience of our other guests.
We accept VISA, Master-Card, Discover, AMEX, Apple Pay, checks, and cash as forms of payment.
Salon & Spa De Crist gift cards are available for purchase for any dollar amount.
Gratuities are appreciated and are not included in any of the salon services. It is up to your discretion. Gratuity may be paid in cash, check, or credit card.
Salon & Spa De Crist will accept the return of any unopened and unused merchandise in its original packaging within 30 days of purchase for full cash refund with a receipt. Opened items will be accepted for exchange only if a receipt is presented at the time of the exchange.
If for any reason you are not satisfied with your service, please let us know before you leave the salon so we can schedule you for a correction service at no charge. All corrections need to be done within 7 days of the service. No cash refunds for services.
Our desire is for you to be able to come and relax and enjoy your experience. All unattended children will receive a free puppy and a shot of espresso. 🙂
As a result of achievements, training, and previous work experience, our stylist work from various price structures. While prices vary, our stylists are constantly improving through ongoing education. Whatever price point you seek, here at SALON & SPA DE CRIST we will have a perfect match for your budget and special look you crave.
Q. Should I wash my hair before receiving color, a specialty style, or an up-do?
A. Hair color: Contrary to old techniques, we encourage arriving with clean, dry hair for our color services to ensure the best color penetration possible. Since our color product is very gentle, it does not need “dirty” hair to act as a buffer like other products require.
A. Updo/specialty style: For a special occasion up-style, we recommend shampooing the day or evening prior so that the hair will be clean yet “product dirty”. Prior to the updo service, please feel free to use a gel or mousse when blow drying the hair. PLEASE do not flat iron your hair and DON’T use pomade!
Q. Why should I hire a makeup artist when I can go into a department store and get my makeup done for free?
A. There are many capable artists that work in the retail stores, but the day of your wedding is not the day you want to take the chance of getting a less than stellar artist. We will meet with you prior to your wedding day so that we can discuss your personal style and create a look that you will love and one that will last all day. Hiring a makeup artist will help eliminate stress on your big day!
Q. What kind of makeup do you use?
A. We have several different professional make-up artists that we use, each who have their own preferences in make-up brands. Most of our brides choose to use airbrush make-up, as it provides a flawless finish and lasts up to 12 hours. All of our make-up artists specialize in airbrush application, and the brand we use is Temptu.
